Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I just got back from a 4-day trip to Malaysia. I traveled with my two sisters and two other friends. We left Singapore and arrived in Kuala Lumpur on October 28. Of course the first thing I noticed was the road system. It is pretty much like in the Philippines, only less chaotic. Not as clean as Singapore but it was beautiful nonetheless.

Like many travelers before us, we went straight to see the Petronas Towers the moment we have checked in our hotel. And it is really something to marvel at, especially at night! We had troubles finding the right spot and angle to get the best view of the towers but eventually got the perfect corner.

We spent the next day looking at interesting places all across Kuala Lumpur. We strolled around Merdeka Square and got to see historical sites like Royal Selangor Club Complex, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the National History Museum, the National Mosque just to name a few. The following day, we visited the Chinatown and the the famous Bintang Walk. There were still a lot of great places we haven’t able to see during our trip but this will do for now. I hope to come back there again.

Indeed it was a very fun tour. I wish to travel some more with family and friends. Our next stop is Thailand? Indonesia? Cambodia? Who knows! Almost can’t wait! Here’s to more traveling!
